Recycle Bubble Gum bowl

There's no denying it, we all love fancy decorations sitting around our house, just to give our space some character. I've been wanting to buy a few deep, round vases to use as centerpieces here and there. But, they're expensive and when I found them for only $10 each, I passed on by and said, "I'll get them next time!" And what happens? I go back and they're sold out! =( So, I was cleaning out my pantry and came across this bubble gum container. LIGHT BULB! A perfectly round, deep container that I can spruce up! I suddenly got a, "AHH-HA!' idea!

FIRST- Strip the label off the container. It helps to fill it up with hot water and let it sit for awhile. Or soak the whole container in the sink full of hot water.

SECONDLY- At first I was going to try to take the sticky glue off the container, but then another light bulb came on. I had some twine laying around the house. (Dollar Tree!) And had just enough to wrap around the sticky part where the label once was. To give it an extra hold I just hot glued the end around it.

LASTLY- I added some Walnuts and peanuts for decor and now I have a perfect little autumn centerpiece that was absolutely FREE!

I'm so proud of myself! Lol.
